CONSTRUCTION OF CONNEX HOMES

Following the November 2017 earthquake in the western Kermanshah province in Iran, the town of Sarpol-e Zahab was most impacted with 95% of buildings destroyed, leaving hundreds of casualties and tens of thousands homeless. FACE Foundation took the initiative to construct a residential complex consisting of prefab Connex homes plus sanitation services for 8 families. The project is at its final stage of completion and due to be delivered to selected residence by the second week of May 2018. This would accommodate up to 60 individuals including children who are currently living in unsuitable camping tents. The total cost of prefab homes plus sanitation services came to around £15,000.
